The Frankfort Police Department strives to provide first-rate, professional services to the community while continuing to be vigilant toward crime. The Police Department is dedicated to making the Village of Frankfort safe and protected while enhancing the quality of life on every block, and in every neighborhood. The Department prides itself on a pro-active, cooperative approach in delivering these services to the community.
Currently the department consists of 32 employees who serve and protect a community of over 16,500 residents. The Department organization for sworn personnel is comprised of a Chief of Police, 2 Commanders, 4 Sergeants, 2 Detectives, 1 Crime Prevention/Community Outreach Officer, 19 Patrol Officers, 2 part-time Patrol Officers, 3 Community Service Officers and clerical staff.
