Frankfort Police Announces New & Improved FREE Network

In the Village’s continuing efforts to increase communication and interact with its residents, Frankfort’s Police Chief, Rob Piscia, recently announced that the “new and improved” FREE (Frankfort Residents Educational Emails) network is operational.

The FREE network, established in 2004, provides residents with community alerts and crime prevention tips through their personal email. Sign up is required. Improvements in the delivering of emails as well as a more convenient method to subscribe online to the service make it more convenient for residents to participate.

If residents had previously signed up for the FREE network, they must subscribe again on the new network by visiting www.frankfortpolice.net and clicking on the upper right hand corner.

“The Frankfort Police Department encourages our residents to sign up and to let their friends and neighbors know about the FREE network and its benefit as a valuable communication tool. In addition to community alerts and crime prevention information, the network also offers safety tips and information regarding upcoming Frankfort Police Department events”, commented Police Chief Rob Piscia.
