Downtown Retail Grant Review Committee
The Downtown Retail Grant Program promotes retail business development within Frankfort's downtown historic district. The Downtown Retail Grant Review Committee reviews applications for funding under this program, according to established review criteria, regulations and guidelines. The committee issues a Certificate of Appropriateness to businesses that meet the specifications of the grant program. The Mayor appoints the seven committee members with the advice and consent of the Trustees. One member is designated as chairperson. The Community Development Director serves as secretary. The committee meets on an as-needed basis as determined by the chairperson.
